LEGO Trucks & Heavy Equipment

    Events 2007

A few times a year I participate in several modelshows in the Netherlands and sometimes abroad. During these events, I will exhibit several LEGO models to the visitors and I will give some demonstrations. Under here I give a list of events in which I participate during this year (conditional).

During the events I made several pictures. To get an impression you can have a look in my Brickshelf folders .

    Website Modelshow Europe Modelshow Europe
    Location: VON in Bemmel NL
    Date: Saturday April 26th, 2008

I think this is the best and most interesting modelshow. This event is esspecially directed in the field of cranes, heavy haulage and construction equipment. This time the show wil be hold in Bemmel.
This is the only modelshow in this field and is being bigger and bigger every year. In 2005 there where more than 350 exposants with almost 1 kilometre of table length. You can't even imagine that in the beginning they hardly had no more than 43 metres of tables. The interest really is unprecedented, visitors are coming all over the world. As I've said during this show you can see models in the usual scales (1:87, 1:50 and 1:24), but also radio-controlled models, Mecano, LEGO etc., if the models are in the field of the above mentioned subjects. The orginization is constantly searching for model makers who also build such models. Interested can take a look on the website of the organization.

Flyer Mackdag Mack & Special Transport Day
Location: Voordorphallen in Utrecht NL (Sartreweg)
    Date: Sunday October 5th 2008

This is a recommendation for everyone who likes trucks and cranes. At the terrain outside there are a few dozens of Macks, heavy haulage trucks and cranes. Inside there are several activities like stands, performances and, off course, model making. At the model making department there are a tens of participants with models of trucks and cranes. Mostly there are also a few model makers with LEGO models.
